Mr. Yates opened the Organizational Town Board Meeting at 6:00PM
Mr. Yates reviewed each account on the 2023 Salaries and Appointments.
Mr. Senske said Brittany Stow, Deputy Animal Control needs to at least be $14.20/hr.
Mr. Pfeil said we need to motion to appoint Pam Brown as Town Historian.

MR. SENA MOTIONED TO MAKE A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT PAM BROWN AS TOWN HISTORIAN EFFECTIVE 1/1/2023 AT $1,500.00/YR. AS REQUESTED. MRS. ORTMAN SECONDED. A ROLL CALL VOTE WAS TAKEN BY MRS. GIBBS, DEPUTY TOWN CLERK OF THE FULL FIVE VOTING MEMBERS PRESENT:

Mr. Pfeil asked why we decided not to give the gift cards to the Highway M.E.O.’s
Mr. Yates said per the comptroller’s office we cannot give town money away as a gift. He said that $100.00 was a stipend and he wants to leave it out.
Mr. Pfeil said the $100.00 needs to be appropriated some other way.
Mr. Senske said we already told them they were going to get it so he doesn’t feel we can take it back. He said he would like to suggest for this year only we raise their clothing allowance by $100.00.
Mr. Pfeil said the $100.00 wasn’t intended to be a gift anyway it was for expenses they incurred for their cell phones.

MR. SENSKE MOTIONED TO INCREASE THE CLOTHING ALLOWANCE PER M.E.O. AND THE HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT FROM $500.00 TO $600.00 FOR THE YEAR 2023. MRS.
ORTMAN SECONDED. YES (4): ORTMAN, SENA, PFEIL, SENSKE. NO (1) YATES. THE MOTION WAS CARRIED.
Mr. Karlson said he would like to appoint M.E.O. John Meyr as his deputy. He said he would like to make a recommendation to give him a $1.00/hr. raise above his current rate which would put his hourly rate to $21.00/hr. to be the deputy and that is Mr. Meyr’s wishes as well.
Mr. Sena asked if it was okay with all the guys.
Mr. Karlson said as Highway Superintendent he feels it is important to evaluate who he communicates well with and who has skill sets he can bounce off. He said he feels it is important if he is away he knows the responsibilities he needs carried will be carried through how he wants it to be carried. He is sure some of the guys would disagree with his decision.

SENSKE MOTIONED TO MAKE A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT AND ENTER INTO THE TOWN RECORD THE DOCUMENT 2023 ORGANIZATIONAL CHART SALARIES AND APPOINTMENTS WITH THE CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS AS DISCUSSED AND APPENDED TO THESE MINUTES. ADOPT TOWN BOARD MEETING DATES FOR 2023
Mrs. Gibbs said all meeting dates provided are the second Monday of the month with the exception of the month of October. She the meeting in October will be held the second Tuesday due to that Monday being a federal holiday.
