Mr. Levesque opened the hearing at 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Stapleton swore in all who expressed intent to speak regarding the cases before the board.
Mr. Levesque motioned to accept the minutes of the 7/24/2019 ZBA Hearing as submitted by the Clerk. Mr. Ortman seconded, and the motion was carried unanimously.
- Paul J. Nelson, II requesting a Special Use Permit to replace an existing manufactured home with a new manufactured home which does not comply with Zoning Code Sec. 402 in the AR district at property located at 2117 Gesaman R., Ashville, Specifically Sec. 384.00-1-52
Mr. Laveque asked Mr. Nelson to explain what he plans on doing. Mr. Nelson explained that he was going to replace an existing manufactured home with a new manufactured home. Mr. nelson said he was going to take the old house out and get rid of it. Mr. nelson said they were going to start as soon as he got approval and it would take six to eight weeks.
Mrs. Emick asked if the new house was going to be any closer to the road. Mr. Nelson said only by around 2 feet.
Mr. Stapleton asked about the septic and Mr. Nelson said it was just redone last summer. Mr. Lawson added that there were replacing a three bedroom with a three bedroom.
Mr. Stapleton asked when they purchased the recent house, they are living in. Mr. Nelson said his parents gave it to them about 2-3 years ago but that his parents had owned it thirty years previously.
Mr. Ortman asked what Mr. Nelson and his family were going to do during the process. Mr. Nelson said they were going to stay with his sister.
Mr. Leveque asked if Mr. Nelson was planning on putting skirting around the new home. Mr. Nelson said it will be skirted. Mr. Leveque said the skirting needs to be done within sixty days after house is finished and he has a year to do the shrubs.
Mr. Levesque motioned to grant the Special Use Permit to replace an existing manufactured home with a new manufactured home which does not comply with Zoning Code Sec. 402 in the AR District at property located at 2117 Gesaman Rd., Ashville, Specifically Sec. 384.00-1-52. as outlined in the application and in these minutes. Mr. Michalak seconded, and the motion was carried unanimously.
By a motion made by Mr. Leveque, Mr. Ortman seconded and with none being apposed the hearing was adjourned at 7:30PM
