Mr. Levesque opened the hearing at 7:05 PM.
Mr. Levesque motioned to adopt the minutes of the 2/27/2019 ZBA Hearing as presented by the Clerk. Mr. Thomas Seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
Mr. Stapleton swore in all who expressed intent to speak regarding the applications.
- Charles Judson requesting a Special Permit to construct a 32’x22’ roof over a Recreational Vehicle and deck at property owned by Robert Kanouff, Lakeside Camping, 3280 Hadley Bay Rd., in the R-4 District, Section 332.20-1-35, Lot #54.
Mr. Kanouff, owner of the campground, appeared to represent Mr. Judson. He said Mr. Judson would like to replace the existing roof over his recreational vehicle that will be approximately 3’ longer. Mr. Kanouff noted that the park only allows campers up to 35’. He also noted that Lot #54 is located on First Street. Mr. Levesque asked how the posts are set for the roof overs. Mr. Kanouff said the posts are set in cement 4’ in the ground. Mr. Stapleton said it has been discussed in the past that mobile home parks must have a yearly inspection by the Health Department. Mr. Lawson said the Health Dept. report was provided to him last year. Mr. Stapleton said that report should be made a condition ongoing and submitted to Mr. Lawson. Mr. Levesque asked if there were any questions regarding the application. It was stated by Mr. Kanouff that there will be no enclosure of the porch/deck area per park rules.
Mr. Levesque motioned to grant a Special Permit to Charles Judson to construct a 32’x22’ roof over a Recreational Vehicle and deck at property owned by Robert Kanouff, Lakeside Camping, 3280 Hadley Bay Rd., in the R-4 District, Section 332.20-1-35, Lot #54 as outlined in the application and these minutes. Mr. Thomas seconded, and the motion was carried unanimously.
- David A. Brodka requesting a Special Permit to construct a 34’x22’ roof over a Recreational Vehicle and deck at property owned by Robert Kanouff, Lakeside Camping, 3280 Hadley Bay Rd., in the R-4 District, Section 332.20-1-35, Lot #78.
Mr. Kanouff, owner of the campground, appeared to represent Mr. Brodka. He said Mr. Brodka’s application is the same as Mr. Judson’s, with just the difference of 2’ in length of the roof. Mr. Kanouff said that Lot #78 is located on Outer Loop Street. Mr. Levesque asked if there were any questions regarding the application.
Mr. Levesque motioned to grant a Special Permit to David Brodka to construct a 34’x22’ roof over a Recreational Vehicle and deck at property owned by Robert Kanouff, Lakeside Camping, 3280 Hadley Bay Rd., in the R-4 District, Section 332.20-1-35, Lot #78 as outlined in the application and these minutes. Mr. Vaillancourt seconded, and the motion was carried unanimously.
On a motion made by Mr. Levesque, seconded by Mr. Ortman, and none being opposed, the hearing was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
