Mr. Johnson opened the meeting at 7:05 PM.
Mr. Lawson, Zoning C.E.O. gave report.
Mr. Lawson said there has been an issue with a helicopter landing in Ashville Bay on the break wall right in the owner’s yard less than 100ft away from the neighbor’s yard. Mr. Lawson talked to the attorney and the attorney believes it can be there, but our town does have a nuisance and noise ordinance.
Mr. Lawson said permits are slow right now and that there are a couple new smaller homes in the town.
Dick Sena, Town Board Councilmen gave Town report.
Mr. Sena said the Grice property has been sold and that the Town Board would like to go forward with make that property along with the other properties that have been discussed to a TC2.
There was discussion on the internet service in the town.
Mr. Sena said Spectrum is going to build the area out by 2020.
TINY HOMES
Mr. Lawson said he has contacted other municipalities and Tiny Homes are being discussed in all the other municipalities but none of them have done anything yet.
Mr. Lawson said it might be as simple as changing the law for cabins and changing the square footage in the law.
Mr. Strand said they seem to be the same as a trailer, so he thought they would be in the same category of a trailer or mobile home.
Mr. Lawson said it isn’t anything that we can decide on at this point.
3 SEAS PROJECT
Mr. Lawson said that 3 seas that is currently in Mayville will be building in the Town of North Harmony on the property off I-86.
