On a motion made by Mr. Levesque and seconded by Mr. Michalak, the minutes of the 9/27/17, Zoning Board of Appeals hearing were adopted unanimously.

- Daniel B. Currie requesting an Area Variance for height to construct a pole barn in the AR District at 5284 Cheney’s Rd., specifically Sec. 349.00-2-43.
Mr. Levesque asked Mr. Currie what he wanted to do. Mr. Currie said he wants to build a pole barn
on his property to store his things (recreational vehicles, trailers, etc.). He said the building will have lights and there is currently a drain in place, but there will not be any septic. He explained that there was no intent to use it for commercial purposes or for any habitable space. He said there will be a balcony on each side for storage. The height requested is 24’ (18’ is allowed). There was discussion of the topography of his property as it relates to the building site. Mr. Currie said the site for the garage is probably 7-10’ lower than the house. Mr. Levesque asked if anyone wished to speak regarding the application.
Mr. Levesque motioned to grant an Area Variance for height to Daniel B. Currie to construct a pole barn 24’ in height (allowed is 18’) in the AR District at property located at 5284 Cheney’s Rd., specifically Sec 349.00-2-43. Mrs. Emick seconded and the motion was carried unanimously.
The hearing was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
