Mr. Rice opened the meeting, Mr. Sena, town board member, gave report on Town Board meeting. Refer to Town Board minutes October 5, 2015.
Mr. McCord discussed the changes made to tentative draft of “A LOCAL LAW TO LIMIT ACCESSORY STRUCTURES IN R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4, & R-5 DISTRICTS AND MODIFY SETBACKS IN VARIOUS DISTRICTS WITHIN THE TOWN” with the board as discussed during the previous meeting. After discussion and minor changes to the draft,
MR. STRAND MADE A MOTION TO SUBMIT THE TENATIVE FINAL DRAFT OF THE ACCESSORY STRUCTURE LOCAL TO THE TOWN BOARD WITH THE PLANNING BOARD RECOMMENDATION THAT IT BE PASSESD AS WRITTEN, MR. RIEG SECONDED THIS MOTION AND ALL WERE IN FAVOR.
The board discussed Section 617 of the Zoning Ordinance – Signs, as discussed during a previous meeting. During discussion, Mr. McCord agreed to check language for perpendicular signs, look at possibly changing language for banners, share copies of “sign designs” from Ellicottville and Westfield and review Sign Association of America for recommendations on size and space percentages. Mr. McCord will draft changes discussed and bring further information to next meeting for discussion.
Mr. Kanouff from 3280 Hadley Bay Road (Lakeside Camping) addressed the board by stating that he attended the last Zoning Board Meeting for an application submitted to build a roof over a camper and has been referred to the Planning Board for a drawing. He stated that he was unsure of what they were asking. After discussion with the board and Mr. Sena they agreed that the drawing they discussed was a Site Plan, the board referred Mr. Kanouff to further discuss this with Mr. Lawson, Zoning C.E.O.
Next regular meeting is scheduled for November 10, 2015 at 7:00 P.M.
