Mr. Rice opened the meeting, Mr. Lawson C.E.O. gave report. See June 9, 2015 minutes.
Sally Carlson said the Amish discount grocery store opens at 8:00 A.M. on 7/16/15. The Reverie Creamery is to open soon and Wall Street Dairy is not open yet. Save- A- Lot grocery store opening 7/15/15 in Lakewood.
Don McCord addressed the language changes for signs. These changes include:
Exempt Signs- temporary signs, use term name plate vs. personal identification.
Billboards- on premise Billboards, the C1 district has been taken out and substituted with TC-3.
Electronic Messaging Signs – prohibited in all districts except for price displays for gasoline stations.
General Regulation for Business Signs-
TC-1, TC-2, TC-4 – max number (2), size 32 sq. ft.
TC-3 – max number (3), size 100 sq. ft.
R1- 10 sq. ft., R2&3 – 20 sq. ft., R4- 75 sq. ft., R5- 40 sq. ft., AR &A- 25 sq. ft., C1- 32 sq. ft., I1&2- 100 sq. ft.
Signage associated with Home Occupations shall be governed by sign regulations contained within Section 606 of The Town of North Harmony Zoning Code.
General Conditions- any sign which is allowed to become dilapidated will be cited by the Code Enforcement Officer and if not repaired with 30 days, may be removed by the municipality at the expense of the owner or lease of the property on which it is located. Planning board accepted all changes.

Accessory Structures or Use- suggested a 16 ft. requirement for R1 district and possible 18ft. requirement for R1-5 district.
Mrs. Carlson said she didn’t agree with the 20ft.side yard and rear yard setbacks for lakefront property. Mr. John suggested using proportional language because no two lots are the same. Mr. McCord will work on use changes, proportional proposal with sketches, and modify footprint language.
