Mr. Rice opened the meeting. See June 10, 2014 Town Board Minutes.
Mr. Sena discussed the following:
Fire Departments 100 year anniversary, August 16, 2014 from 11:00a.m.-‐ 4:00 p.m.
Workman’s compensa?on insurance had an increase of $9000.
The transfer sta?on s?ll is having problems with not having the correct s?ckers from the public. A tarp
was stolen and the possibility of cameras being set up again for security.
Placing an aerator down at the lake by the ferry, to control the stagnant water by the light house. The
cost would be $544.00 and run on electric.
Problems at Cheney’s point, not being used for small fishing boats and kayaks. Public is using it for large
boats with trailers and leaving debris behind. Ideas of a putting up a sign may be an op?on to enforce
this.
The CLMC (advisory board) talked of crea?ng a new alliance to consolidate all the lake regencies. After
research they would form a nonprofit group that would have the power getting grants and handle
money to fix the watershed.
The Regnor property was sold for $30,000 as is. Public hearings were held with a seeker and were
approved and work on the finalized electronic version.
Two grants were given to Goose Creek bank stabilization and Bly Hill step drainage on the opposite side.
A contract was made with South and Center engineers, which will take 12 weeks, a study will be done to
complete all sewers around the lake.
Grievance report had a 15% reduction.
Brad Lawson met with Todd Saracki( Carton Homes) and Paul Po_er to discuss and go a copy of the site
plan laws. Paul Po_er told Mr. Saracki that it would take 3-‐4 weeks to design a storm water preven?on
plan.
Planning Board discussed the following:
Changes in site plan review that would include:
-‐possibility of scanning site plan applica?ons and emailing to board members before the mee?ng.
-‐approved Minor Site Plan Review/ $100.00
Major Site Plan Review / $250.00
-‐permits for small projects under $5000, will cost $50.00. Provided it isn’t included in the fee schedule.
Don McCord advised the Zoning Law was passed and asked to have a mee?ng with the planning board
and the zoning board of appeals. Mr. Rice offered to speak with Sally Carlson to set up this meeting.
Next regular mee?ng is scheduled for July 8, 2014.
